Three Lovely Old Ladies

Here are three beautiful old fountain pens sent to my by a friend in Canada.

The one in the middle is a 1945 Parker Vacumatic in emerald green pearl laminated celluloid. The diaphragm is intact and it writes very well.

The one on the right is a Canadian Sheaffer's Oversized Lifetime Balance in carmine striated celluloid, with a WASP clip. The sac is good, and the nib has a crack running from the vent hole up toward the section, but it writes beautifully.

The one on the left is a Sheaffer's Thin Standard Lifetime Balance in marine green striated celluloid; that one has one tip missing from its nib and needs a new sac. Some day ...
