Description
Society garlic in our front yard; we have a lot of this intespersed with some cufea, irises, frisia, and alyssum, all under a very happy sago palm tree.
It turns out that Society garlic isn't really a garlic at all, though it sure smells like it!

Very lovely. Is "society garlic" any cousin to the (pardon the pun, here) "garden variety" edible garlic? If so, I can't help but wonder what the blooms smell like.
I had a very humble garden as a kid, and I let some of my chives and green onions go to seed. Beautiful little purple blooms on the chives, and larger orb-shaped clumps of whitish flowers on the green onions. And the flowers of both smelled...well...kinda oniony.
